The Brad Paisley video is hilarious, a middle aged man living with his parents living in the basement. He is a pizza delivery guy during the day but a mack daddy online by night. He appears to be more confident online, his imagination is free to run wild and he can be anyone he wants. During his everyday life Jason Alexander is made fun of and harassed, but when he is online he can make up who he wants to be and that person is Brad Paisley. By the end of the video he has the courage to be himself, and as the girl out next door. From videos such as these we can only more solidly conclude that people really do falsify information on communication websites such as MySpace. Although not all people do this, it is much easier to do without being caught. Just like in the video he was 6’5” and lost weight, but in reality he is what barely 6 feet tall? No one would know he was lying; fake pictures could be posted to keep the fasaud going, and no one knows what is real and what is false. Basically I guess I am saying that really you can never know someone fully online without knowing them at some point in the real world. There is too much lying, and deceit in our world for me to fall in love with someone because of their MySpace page. It is already difficult to trust the internet as a source of valid information due to people posting crap that is not true, so why would you believe someone who tells you they are a handsome, single, business man, living in

I thought that our comments were pretty much the same as far as the connection between the piasley viedo and you've got mail..to answer your question about why do people ask for advice and why would it even be worthy of taking.
I also wonder the same thing. I feel like some people might be insure and just want to know advice from somebody other then who they may talk to on a regular basis. Maybe they just want that support and comfort from somebody they don't know to feel like somebody agrees with them.
I often wonder why people use the internet to find somebody or to trick people into believing that they are somebody they are not. I guess they just feel really protected by the internet and think that they are not hurting anybody by doing it.
